Combined Cycle Turbojet Scramjet (CCTS)

So what does this CCTS have to do with it? Everything. Everything? Everything! 

Do I have your attention now? I can only imagine the hours tinkering with the 3D modeling to achieve seamless transitioning, thus integrating Turbojet into Scramjet. Laborius indeed, and the secrecy is deafening.

What was the purpose of SR71 and now the SR72? One word, "Payload." What was its payload and the Mach speed as a prerequisite? Engineering prowess for starters.
